A collaborative digital project built by the world, one pin at a time.
About
Every pin dropped connects to the last, creating a single, continuous thread that wraps around the globe. We are building a visualization of human connection.
Pins dropped within a certain radius of another are merged into a single pin cluster. Clusters grow in size to reflect the density of pins. All contained pin messages are viewable by selecting the respective cluster.
Tiers
Red Pin: Free. Drop a red pin and join the thread.
Gold Pin: Support this project for $1. Leave a permanent message and turn your pin gold.
Privacy Policy
Data Collection: We collect approximate location (lat/lng), IP hashes (to prevent spam and reporting abuse), and optional emails for certificates.
Moderation: All messages are public. We reserve the right to edit and/or remove any content deemed hateful, harassing, or overly vulgar to maintain the project's integrity.
Payments: Gold Pins are processed securely via Stripe. We store no credit card data. Removal and/or editing of any content is not subject to refund.
Privacy: We do not sell your data. Emails are used solely for transactional purposes (certificates and receipts).
